A message from John Nesemann and Lani Galloway, the 2014 ASB Tuscaloosa Site Leaders:

Hannah Graham was one of our good friends and Alternative Spring Break participants. We spent spring break together building homes in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with Habitat for Humanity, and Hannah was a committed and hard-working volunteer who brought life and laughter to the job site every day.

In her memory, we have decided to start an endowment that will honor her giving spirit and commitment to helping others. We knew her through Alternative Spring Break so we plan to honor that side of her by creating a scholarship in her memory that will fund $500 towards the trip of one ASB participant who is working Habitat for Humanity, an organization Hannah felt passionately about. We hope to raise about $12,500 now so that the scholarship will be self-sustaining in the future.
